Classic Super 8 doesn’t capture live audio. Instead, your film is paired with thoughtfully chosen music that enhances the mood and storytelling.

How long will my Super 8 wedding film be?

Most couples receive a 3–5 minute highlight film set to music. Because film is shot sparingly and intentionally, it’s more about capturing meaningful moments than recording every detail.

How is a Super 8 wedding film different from a regular wedding video?

Unlike traditional digital video, Super 8 has a raw, timeless quality. It feels like flipping through an old family home movie, full of emotion and artistry. The films are usually shorter, more curated highlights rather than full-day coverage.

Can I book a Super 8 film as an add-on to wedding photography? 

Absolutely! Super 8 works beautifully as a stand-alone film or as an add-on alongside your photography package. It adds a unique layer of storytelling that complements your wedding coverage.

How long does it take to get our Super 8 film back?

Because film must be developed and scanned before editing, delivery usually takes 6–10 weeks. This ensures your footage is processed with care and edited into a keepsake that will last a lifetime.

Who shoots the Super 8 on the day of?

If Super 8 is booked as an add-on to photography, I have a team of trusted cinematographers who will join us on your special day to help as I focus on photography. You essentially get second-shooter coverage for free!

Can I book you for Super 8 without a photography package?

Yes! You can absolutely book Super 8 as a standalone option. Since it’s more specialized and time-intensive, standalone Super 8 coverage is limited and comes at a higher rate than when booked as an add-on to photography. If you’re envisioning only Super 8 for your day, I’d love to chat about availability and create a custom package that fits your vision.
