Your day deserves to feel real, not staged or forced. I want you to be able to sink into every moment, laugh with your people, wipe away happy tears, and be present without worrying about the camera.
My goal is to make sure you feel cared for and seen throughout the entire process. Every couple has their own story, and that’s what excites me most. The quirks, the in-between glances, the unpolished moments that end up meaning everything. That’s what I want to capture for you, so years from now you remember not just what it looked like but what it felt like.
My focus is on capturing the real, unscripted moments as they naturally unfold: the quiet glances, the laughter in between, the details you might not even notice in the moment but will treasure forever. These are the authentic pieces of your story that bring your gallery to life.
With my background in design, I also bring an editorial eye to every wedding. I love working with the spaces, textures, and details around you to create images that feel elevated and artistic. It’s this balance of documentary storytelling paired with creative composition that transforms your gallery into a timeless work of art, something you’ll relive and fall in love with again and again.
My Story
I was introduced to photography at an early age when my father bought my mom a DSLR camera for Christmas. I’m not sure if she ever got the chance to play with the camera before I took it completely for myself. There was something so exciting about it- a way to capture the art of what I was seeing around me in a completely new way. I experimented with it for years- forcing my friends and family to do photoshoots (I used to edit on VSCO) and watching every YouTube video I could to get better.
In high school, I took my first photography class. I learned the ins and outs of a studio and all about the Adobe suites (I like to call myself a Photoshop wizard). At the same time, my film literature class opened my eyes to the beauty of storytelling, fueling my passion for photography. With the elementary portfolio I built from my classes (and a whole lot of ignorant confidence), I got a summer job as a photographer at Hume Lake Christian Camps. That's where I met my husband!
That summer stretched me creatively and pushed me to perform well in high-stress situations. I was in charge of capturing the moment a belly flop touched the water, group shots of the entire camp (1,000+ students and counselors), and the emotionally raw moments of campers giving their lives to Christ. It was such a beautiful experience to capture, and it taught me so much about the beauty of the human experience.
I fell in love with documenting weddings after my sweet husband and I had our own.
The day I married Jackson was the most special day of my life, but it was such a blur. I remember getting into the getaway car and thinking, “Did that really just happen?”
Photography is the only thing you can really take away from your wedding day. Flowers die, cake goes bad, and memories definitely fade. But that is why there is so much value in photography- because when your day is captured through a lens, your flowers stay as vibrant as ever, your cake remains appetizing, and your memories are preserved for a lifetime.
My faith is at the center of who I am and naturally drives the way I approach my work. As a follower of Christ, I try to reflect Jesus in everything I do- especially in the love and care I show to my clients.
I’m endlessly inspired by God’s creation around me- the way light dances through a space, how laughter fills a room, and the quiet exchanges that say more than words ever could. Each wedding is its own story, unique, and I love capturing the details and emotions that make your day feel like it belongs in its own timeless film.
“I’m forever grateful that I’ll have this to look back on and show our daughter!”

Your questions, answered.
-
Yes, travel and photography are my two favorite things in the world. If you are inquiring about a destination wedding, travel fees will be built into your custom proposal and vary depending on the destination.
-
Your full wedding gallery will be ready 4-6 weeks after the wedding, with sneak peeks sent within a week.
Engagement and couple photos take only about 1-2 weeks to get back.
And Super 8 films take a little longer because of the development process- typically between 6-8 weeks.
-
It varies from wedding to wedding, but on average, you can expect about 70-100 images per shooting hour.
For engagements and couples, I typically deliver about 100 images.

I want your photographs to be as candid and natural as possible. My approach is mostly documentary, though I do provide light direction during family photos and couple portraits. As a 2024 bride, I completely understand how you may feel, and will help anticipate your needs. My general philosophy in life is to treat others the way I’d like to be treated, and this absolutely translates to photographing weddings.
There aren’t many opportunities in life where we have a professional photographer capturing our intimate, candid, and unscripted moments. Which is why hiring the right one is so important. I’ll make sure that you’re looked out for. That the angles are flattering and artistic, the colors are edited true to your skin tones, and the important (and not so seemingly important) moments are cherished forever.

If you are nervous about being camera shy on your wedding day, an engagement session can be a great practice run for getting comfortable in front of the camera. It’s also a wonderful way to capture a special season in life, especially if there’s a place that is special to you both as a couple. All of my wedding packages come with an engagement session included, however, if you’re eloping or just want engagement/couples photos without a full wedding package, I’d love to work together to bring your vision to life!

Yes and yes! 35mm film photos are included in all of my wedding and elopement packages. Film captures the feeling of nostalgia like digital could never. I love the quote by Steven Spielberg, “Digital photography is a science; film photography is a chemical miracle.” That is why I don’t shy away from it.
I offer Super 8 films as an add-on for any package. Super 8 is a vintage film format that was first introduced in the 1960s, and it’s known for its dreamy, nostalgic look. With its soft grain, warm tones, and timeless feel, Super 8 transforms your wedding day into something that looks and feels like an heirloom family film.
